Join us for the annual PAP-SE WORKSHOP and Outdoor Painter's Forum in the picturesque heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
August 27 – 30, 2009
This 3-day workshop will be taught by six PAP-SE instructors including: Perry Austin, Loryn Brazier, Dee Beard Dean, Paula Frizbe, L. Diane Johnson and Richard Oversmith. The workshop and paint-out will take place at Leatherwood Mountains, a vacation resort community near Boone and Blowing Rock, North Carolina.
Along with workshop attendees, PAP-SE has invited plein air painting groups from around the Southeast to paint on location at Leatherwood Mountains. We hope to make this Outdoor Painter's Forum an annual tradition which could become a popular art exhibition and summer destination for art collectors, media folks and landscape art enthusiasts from around the country.
